The Duchess Of Cornwall, Dorchester

The hotel is located in a fantastic new development with friendly and helpful staff. The room was excellently decorated in country style; however, the absence of a suitcase stand was a downside. The dining experience offered a great variety of hot and cold buffet options. The location is superb, making it easy to reach Dorchester and Weymouth, and the square outside provides a relaxing atmosphere.

The hotel offers absolutely fantastic rooms for the money, with to the highest possible standard fittings and furnishings; however, it was very hot in the room despite having the window open. The service was top-notch with a welcome drink. The location is superb, just 10 minutes from the seafront with plenty of surrounding cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The dining experience was excellent, with a wide variety of freshly cooked options. Overall, a bit expensive but worth it for a special treat.

I stayed in a superior double room, which was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The great size of the room with all the amenities was impressive. However, the room's proximity to the lift was a bit inconvenient as noise from the lift area was noticeable due to lacking soundproofing. The hotel's location, although peaceful, required a short drive to access more dining options in town.
